This set of ten C-Max carbide gravers improves the efficiency of stone setting and engraving jobs by providing carefully-sized tool points. Stone setters will save time removing the metal between and around stones in pave and other setting jobs while engravers can shape small tools without the hassle of starting with a tool blank that is too big for the job. All tools are also sold separately (see related products below).

Use with the GRS 3/32" Round QC Tool Holder and the Quick Change Manual Graver Handle (see related products below). All the tools have 3/32" (2.35 mm) round shanks and are 1.77" long.

Graver Basics

Unless otherwise noted, all gravers come pre-shaped with a ground cutting face. Gravers must be sharpened before use. Sharpening can be done manually with a stone or automated with a motorized hone.

GRS C-Max GRS C-Max gravers are made from a specially formulated tungsten carbide alloy for a great blend of hardness and toughness. Although more brittle than other steel alloys, C-Max gravers stay sharp much longer.

GRS C-Max gravers can only be sharpened with diamond abrasives.
