The updated style of GRS vise bases is now available for the larger GRS vises. There are 2 bases in the kit, one in plastic and the other in rubber. The rubber base provides more surface friction, allowing the vise to stay stabilized and limiting movement and tilt. The plastic base has a smoother, harder surface which you need when you want to tilt and move the vise more freely.
