The LX Series Foredom Flex Shaft is a high torque, low speed motor (maximum speed 5000 RPM) engineered specifically for low speed/high torque applications such as stone setting, jewelry wax grinding and carving, and pearl drilling. It's also the ideal flexshaft motor to use with hammer handpieces. This permanent magnet, ball bearing motor is more powerful than the Foredom "L" series motor it replaces. The K2245 Kit is furnished with all of the following:

  • LX motor
  • TXR foot control
  • Foredom no. 18 quick change handpiece (item no. 236-401)
  • Foredom no. 15 hammer handpiece (item no. 236-421)
  • Carbide stylus and pave point for the hammer handpiece
  • 12 piece bur and drill assortment
  • Flex shaft lubricant

The quick change handpiece is used only with attachments that have 3/32" shanks. The LX motor is also available with a no. 30 adjustable chuck handpiece or with no handpiece (see related products below). 110 volts.
