Unavailable for more than 1 year, our 700 Series Black Rubber Mold Compound is available again in a new configuration.

The 700 Series mold compound is an exclusive Contenti formulation, produced for us by one of the largest compounders of SBR rubber in North America. It is characterized by an extremely high flow during vulcanization that results in the highest levels of reproducibility in the rendition of even the finest details in original patterns. Used in the production of jewelry, figurines, fishing lures, and other small to medium size parts.

Every organic rubber mold set consists of two ¹⁄₂" thick sections, and each section has (4) ¹⁄₈” thick laminations (8 per 1” thick set). These laminations are twice as thick as they had been, so this compound is ideal for relatively uncomplicated patterns. This configuration makes it possible to price this mold compound well below the alternative 800 Series Mold Rubber, which will be available in late February 2025. Currently, the new 700 Series Mold Rubber is offered only in the 9” and 12” diameters. The 15” and 18” diameters will be available later this year.

The term "durometer" used in the specification table below refers to the relative hardness of a rubber compound when cured. The higher the durometer, the harder the rubber compound is.
