Shipping Schedule

Domestic orders (within the U.S.) being shipped by Air that are received by 10am EST of any business day (Monday thru Friday) will be shipped that day. Orders received after that time are shipped the following business day. All items are shipped from our facility in Pawtucket, RI 02861 (unless noted otherwise).

Canadian Shipments

Shipments to addresses within Canada can be made through UPS or US Postal Service.

International Shipments

All orders shipped outside of the US & Canada must meet our international order minimum of $50.00 (not including shipping costs and additional fees). US Territories such as Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands are not considered international.

International shipments are sent via UPS or US Postal Service. Certain items cannot be shipped internationally. These items are marked as such. International freight must be paid collect, prepaid, or charge back. We do not accept international credit cards for payment. See our Payment Information page for available payment methods.

Shipments outside of the United States may be subject to additional taxes and import duties upon arrival in the destination country. As each country has different rules regarding import taxes and duties, we are unable to estimate these fees. These additional charges are the sole responsibility of the recipient. Please contact your local customs office for further information.

APO and FPO Shipments

All deliveries to APO and FPO (US Military) addresses must be shipped via US Postal Service. When entering such shipping addresses, select United States as the country and enter one of the following as the state: AA (Central and South America), AP (Pacific), AE (Europe, Canada, and Middle East).

US Postal Flat Rate & Regional Shipping

Our website uses a comprehensive packing algorithm that will determine the size of the box required to ship your order. If the products in your order, along with the required padding materials, fit in a US Postal Flate Rate or Regional box, you will be quoted the cost of that box, plus required insurance costs. Some hazardous, fragile, or oversized products cannot be shipped in Flat Rate or Regional boxes.

P.O. Boxes

P.O. Box shipments can be sent via US Postal Service or UPS SurePost. Standard UPS shipments (Ground, 3 Day and Air) cannot be delivered to P.O. Boxes because they are owned by the US Postal Service.

In-Store Pickup

Residents of RI, MA, and CT are given the option of picking up their order at our facility in Pawtucket, RI 02861. Orders scheduled for pickup will be available after 10am on the following business day. For same-day pickup, please call 401-305-3000 to place your order. Payment will be required at time of pickup.

Motor Freight Shipping Charges

Items listed on this website as Motor Freight shipments, cannot be purchased directly through our online store. Please contact us for shippings costs on these items. Motor Freight shipping costs are determined individually by the dimension and weight of the boxes(s) or crate(s).

For equipment and machinery manufactured by The Contenti Company and shipped out of the Pawtucket/Providence area, crating and/or packing charges are added. For container load shipments of our investment powders to overseas destinations, there are additional packing charges.

Restricted Shipments

Several items in our online catalog cannot be shipped internationally or via AIR shipping methods due to hazardous restrictions. These items are marked as such on their product pages and clearly identified when in your shopping cart.

Special Shipping Instructions

During the checkout process, you will have an opportunity to specify "special instructions" for your order. You can use this section to alert the shipping company to any special requirements. While this information will be passed along to the shipper, we cannot guarantee that your instructions will be followed. The shipping company driver makes the ultimate decision based on a number of factors. We recommend that a note be left at your delivery location specifying any special instructions.

Return Policy

Before returning any merchandise, please contact us for Return Authorization and for instructions. Any merchandise found to be defective should be returned within 5 days of its receipt. Please be sure to include a description of the defect with any return. Non-defective merchandise is assessed a restocking charge at the discretion of The Contenti Company. Please include a copy of your receipt with all returns. All articles must be returned in their original condition and packaging. All return shipments must be shipped freight prepaid unless we specify otherwise. And remember to insure the parcel. You will be responsible for any losses if you forget to do so.

Damaged or Missing Goods

Before opening any damaged packages, please follow these steps:

  1. Make a note of the damage on the delivery receipt.
  2. Save all packing materials from the shipment.
  3. Contact us immediately for additional instructions.

If damage or shortages are discovered only after your packages are opened:

  1. Notify the carrier immediately.
  2. Save all packing materials from the shipment.
