For texturing the background within a chased piece to give the design depth. The TX-1 tool, with a narrower point, imparts a frosted finish, while the more rounded TX-2 creates a pebble effect. Each tool is made from 4 mm square hardened steel stock with a 90° twist on the end to provide a firm grip. Overall length is 106 mm (4.175").
