Fretz NH Hammer Set
The Fretz NH Series Hammers are unique in both size and construction. Handles are shortened to provide more control and are shaped to rest comfortably in the hand. Their heads are cast with stems that form a portion of the hammer handles. Attached to these stems are long bolts that extend through the wood portion of the handles terminating in a screw head that can be tightened with a hex wrench when the hammer head becomes loose. A clever innovation by Bill Fretz. As always, handles are fashioned from padauk wood and heads are cast in 420 stainless steel and hardened. Made in Vietnam.

NH-1S Short Planishing Hammer: Has a flat end for applying very faint hammer marks. The other, slightly domed end, leaves a classic planish texture on the metal.
