Has one nylon and one hardened steel plate, both 72 mm in diameter (almost 3 inches). Simply install either of the 2 plates into the rubber base. Both plates are 19 mm thick, or about 3/4". Hard rubber non-slip base provides secure positioning and absorbs light to heavy hammer action. Made in India.
