Synclastic forming is the technique by which bowl-like metal shapes are created. Anticalstic forming results in a shape resembling a saddle. These Advanced Forming Stakes are constructed from Delrin®, a polymer notable for its high strength, hardness, and rigidity. Steel stakes require a good deal more planishing and provide somewhat less control than this range of stakes. Designed to be mounted in a bench vise. Made in USA.
