The Fretz F-Series Miniature Stakes are cast in stainless steel which has been hardened and highly polished. These very high quality stakes can be used to fabricate complex curves for a variety of projects. Made in Vietnam. All stakes have 8 mm tapered square shanks that fit the H-1 Stake Holder, which is sold separately (see related products below).

A narrower version of the Fretz Shell Forming Stake, the Thin Shell Forming Stake has a more pronounced taper to the ends, which are 6.5 mm wide. For forming bracelet size, deep concave and anticlastic hollow forms. A wide range of dramatic curves can be achieved using this versatile forming stake. 3 7/8" x 1/2" (97 x 13 mm).
