A rubberized abrasive designed to create a high luster around stones without scratching. The fine grit is the last step, used after pre-polish with Green Pumice Polishing Wheels no. 214-260 or 214-261 (see related products below). The ideal choice for polishing prong and bezel settings. Composed of fine pumice in a silicone rubber binder, Gray Fine Pumice Polishing Wheels measure 22 mm (around 7/8”) in diameter and are 3 mm thick. Available in Square Edge and Knife Edge styles. Maximum speed is 20,000 rpm, but best results are obtained between 7,000–10,000 rpm. Used with Miniature Mandrels with 1⁄16” screws (see related products below). Made in Germany.
