Chinese White creates a dull, water-based layer of pigment on most surfaces for drawing or tracing designs easily. Provided as a solid cake which, when moistened, is dabbed or brushed onto a surface to impart a dull white film for drawing or tracing. Long popular with engravers, tracing on Chinese White can also serve as a guide when sawing.
