Attach 2 plastic gears onto the base, and insert your wire (20 gauge and finer) into the small hole in the wire guide. Slowly turn the gear with the handle until your wire is moving through the gears. Continue to turn while pushing down on both gears until the desired amount of crinkled wire is made.
