Grobet Diesinker's Riffler Files are made using the latest advances in production technology and adherence to strict quality control procedures. Each file is made from heat tempered chrome alloy steel to the highest standards of dimensional accuracy, cutting performance, and service life. Originally used by diesinkers to get into tight areas for precision filing. The long middle portion serves as the handle. Cut 0 is coarse, cut 2 is medium.
The curved, paddle-like cross-section of the No. 963 Riffler File allows you to file broad concave surfaces with precision. The 4.5 x 28 mm long (approx.) cutting area features a long straight section, a tightly curved end, and a rounded tip. The overall length of the file is 6" and each end has the same profile.
