Grobet 970 Die Sinkers' Riffler File, Swiss Pattern

Grobet 970 Die Sinkers' Riffler File, Swiss Pattern

Grobet Diesinker's Riffler Files are made using the latest advances in production technology and adherence to strict quality control procedures. Each file is made from heat tempered chrome alloy steel to the highest standards of dimensional accuracy, cutting performance, and service life. Originally used by diesinkers to get into tight areas for precision filing. The long middle portion serves as the handle. Cut 0 is coarse, cut 2 is medium.

The No. 970 Riffler File features a flattened oval cross-section and curved, tapered cutting area (approx. 1.8 x 16 mm) that tapers to a sharp point at the end. Great for removing small amounts of material with precision. Because both top and bottom surfaces have teeth for cutting, this file can be used on a variety of shapes. 6" long overall with the same profile on both ends. Made by Grobet.
