Grobet 940 Die Sinkers' Riffler File, Swiss Pattern

Grobet 940 Die Sinkers' Riffler File, Swiss Pattern

Grobet Diesinker's Riffler Files are made using the latest advances in production technology and adherence to strict quality control procedures. Each file is made from heat tempered chrome alloy steel to the highest standards of dimensional accuracy, cutting performance, and service life. Originally used by diesinkers to get into tight areas for precision filing. The long middle portion serves as the handle. Cut 0 is coarse, cut 2 is medium.

The triangular profile of the No. 940 Riffler File measures 2.1 mm at its widest, tapering to a sharp point at its end. The cutting area is approximately 17 mm long and is curved to make it easier to access tight spaces. This 6" long double-ended file (same profile on both ends) works great for cleaning up solder joints. All three edges have teeth for cutting.
