Grobet 914 Die Sinkers' Riffler File, Swiss Pattern

Grobet 914 Die Sinkers' Riffler File, Swiss Pattern

Grobet Diesinker's Riffler Files are made using the latest advances in production technology and adherence to strict quality control procedures. Each file is made from heat tempered chrome alloy steel to the highest standards of dimensional accuracy, cutting performance, and service life. Originally used by diesinkers to get into tight areas for precision filing. The long middle portion serves as the handle. Cut 0 is coarse, cut 2 is medium.

The No 914 Riffler File has a rectangular cross-section that measures 2.7 x 1.1 mm at the tip and is slightly wider towards the handle. The cutting side of the file is flat with a bend where it meets the handle, providing better clearance when filing flat surfaces. Three sides have teeth for cutting (the top side is "safe"). Double-ended with the same profile on both ends. 6" long overall.
